So, who are we? Well, we are no different than you. Just a couple of folks trying to make a difference in the lives of our children and our future. We are a Mother and Daughter team in Oklahoma who were looking for something to do to help cheer up foster chidren this Christmas when we found Bentley, or should we say he found us. We like to think of him as our little "Last Mimzy" doll sent to help cheer up foster children all over the world.
Bentley the Bear and he has just performed small miracles throughout the nation. We are hoping that he spreads his miracles to your neck of the woods soon if he hasn't done so already.
Bentley is a plush, 21" soft and cuddly bear with a polka dot bow tie that is delivered to a young foster child in a cute gift bag for Christmas in the donars name and we donate 100% of the profits to help purchase a gifts from the special wish list of an older foster child too.
Each year there will be a different plush character to donate to foster children. This way the children who are unfortunately still in foster care will receive a different plush gift but Bentley will still be available.
Bentley is actually one of the many wonderful charity projects from Avon. When we told the representatives we knew how we would like to sell Bentley and donate him and the profits to foster children they all decided it was a great idea too and immediately decided to help. Now there are not just Avon Reps but also families, men, women, children, and organizations all over helping to bring a smile to children in need of this holiday.
You can be with any company and help! Right now our focus is on Oklahoma and Canadian County in the State of Oklahoma. However, if you have a bear you would like to donate to a child in another location please just send an email to us along with your transaction ID confirmation from your donation and we will make sure it gets to delivered to a foster child in your requested location. If you are mailing in your donations, simply include a note.
